Applicants must provide the true and correct information in all application documents:

1. Registration photo: 2-inch recent colored photo;

2. Copy of passport: provide the personal information page and the passport should remain valid at least on Oct 31, 2022;

3. Cope of visa: applicants in China must provide;

4. Copy of your notarized bachelor's degree certificate:

Prospective students must submit official proof of student status by their current school. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations. Please take the original copy of your current highest diploma with you for registration.

5. Copy of your bachelor's degree’s academic transcripts (Transcripts in languages other than Chinese or English must be attached with notarized Chinese or English translations);

(2). applicants who apply for English taught programs should have a TOEFL score above 80 or IELTS score above 5.5;

(3). Master of Translation Program offers a specialty in English-Chinese, Japnese-Chinese translation;

*English-Chinese translation specialty: Applicants should submit exam results for TOEFL(score above 80) or IELTS (score above 5.5);

*Japnese-Chinese translation requires: submit exam result for JSPT 2 or JLPT 2.

*Both specialties: submit HSK 5 certificate.

(4). Foreign Language and Literature program offers a specialty in English language and literature, Japanese language and literature, French language and literature, foreign linguistics and applied linguistics, foreign language curriculum, and teacher education;

*specialty of English language and literature, foreign linguistics and applied linguistics, foreign language curriculum, and teacher education: Applicants should submit exam results for TOEFL(score above 80) or IELTS (score above 5.5);

*Japnese language and literature requires: submit exam result for JSPT 2 or JLPT 2.

*French language and literature: la spécialité Langue et Littérature Françaises doit avoir le niveau B2 d’après le CECRL

* All specialties: submit HSK 5 certificate.

7. Foreigner physical examination form: bearing the stamp of the hospital. Physical examination results are valid for 6 months.

 （ complete it in Chinese or English, The physical examinations must cover all the items listed in the Foreigner Physical Examination Form. Incomplete records or those without the signature of the attending physician, the official stamp of the hospital, or a sealed photograph of the applicants are invalid. Please select the appropriate time to take a physical examination as the result is valid for only 6 months.)

8. Police Certificate;

9. A statement of no drug addiction history;

10. Bank Statement: to prove that the applicant has sufficient funds to cover his or her tuition, accommodation, living expenses, and international travels during his or her study in China. The only applicant himself/herself or his/her family can act as a financial sponsor.

11. Two Letters of Recommendation: signed by professors or associate professors, written in Chinese or English.

12. Study plan:

(1). no less than 1000 words, applicants who apply for an English taught program should write the plan in English, applicants who apply for a Chinese taught program should write in Chines.

(2). If applicants apply for more than 2 programs, the applicant should submit study plans for each program.

13. Transfer letter: applicants who are already studying in other universities in China should submit

(1) . All the application materials in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by the original copy and its notarized translation in Chinese or English. It is advised to have the original copy and its translation notarized at the Chinese Embassy in the applicant’s home country. Please stamp on the edges of all sheets with part of the impression on each sheet if the document consists of more than one page.
