Accommodation

SDUST has three on-campus dorm buildings for international students. The living environment is elegant, clean and comfortable. There are several types of rooms which can meet different needs of international students. Facilities include a desk, a chair, a closet, a toilet, air-conditioning, a shower, a public kitchen, an entertainment room and a laundry room, etc.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Bilateral Program

The bilateral program supports undergraduate programs, master's programs, doctoral programs, general scholar programs and senior scholar programs. Applicants should consult the relevant organizational body in their home country for details of the programs available.

All the undergraduate programs, most graduate programs and most non-degree programs are instructed in Chinese. In general, the duration of the scholarship covering both major study and Chinese language (preparatory) study (as specified in the Admission Letter) cannot be extended.

Applicants should apply to the organizational body for overseas study in their home countries between January and early April 2023. Please contact the relevant authorities for the specific deadline.

Note: SDUST will only send Pre-admission Notices (Conditional Offer) to those who have already received the award letter for a Chinese Government Scholarship, offered by the Chinese embassy overseas.

Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program

Program Categories,Durationand Language of Instruction	This scholarship only supports graduate programs. The duration of the scholarship is two to three years for master's programs and three to four years for doctoral programs.
	Most programs are instructed in Chinese. Some programs can be offered in English. (Specific information of programs is available at www.csc.edu.cn/laihua or www.campuschina.org)
	In general, the duration of the scholarship covering both major study and Chinese language (preparatory) study (as specified in the Admission Letter) cannot be extended.

Local Government Scholarships

Categories	The scholarships support undergraduate programs, master's programs, doctoral programs and the Chinese language program.
Duration	1-4 academic years for degree programs and 0.5-1 academic year for the Chinese language program. It is awarded annually on the basis of students' academic performance.

Eligibility	To be eligible, applicants must:be a citizen of a country other than the People's Republic of China, and be in good health;hold a bachelor's degree and be under the age of 35 when applying for master's programs;hold a master's degree and be under the age of 40 whenapplying for doctoral programs.
